SiTP 2012: 17

Sunday In The Park 2012 Episode 17 by Transworld

All the Sunday in the Park edits from 2012 got me so hyped to go to Bear Mountain. Watching Brett Wilkinson every Sunday was pure gold. One of my favorite riders to watch, Sunday in the Park could only be Wilky and it would be way better. Just watch all the other SITP’s in 2012 and watch how he rips Bear. The sunny California vibes are the real deal, and luckily I got to check it out for a month in 2013. One of the best moves I ever made, I would recommend it to anybody that loves to snowboard. Pretty much always sunny, perfect conditions. Not to mention the entire mountain is littered with park features. Truly a boarders paradise. Get to Bear Mountain you won’t regret it. Wilky shows us why he reps bear and just cruises the park with effortless style. Bluntslide 270 sameway, followed up by a bluntslide 450 sameway. A perfectly cracked Ollie over the stair feature that looks so fun. Other than that their was some other honorable mentions but you should definitely check out the rest of the Sunday in The Park videos to see more Wilkinson shots. Beef also does a sick job filming and editing all the Sunday in The Parks at Bear Mountain so shout out to Beef for holding it down. Be sure to check out Beef’s project Avante Garden as well. –The Rat

Keep The Change is one of the best snowboard crews around. Coming from Loon Mountain, New Hampshire they have built up a solid amount of videos proving their come up. With Loonatics to Friendly Fire, and now a professional video production crew. Keep The Change have made their mark on the industry and are helping to push snowboarding in the right direction.

I chose to post Loonatics Episode 9 because it really captures some innovative hammers. Super clean riding from start to finish, and amazing camera work is what really gets me. The filmer for Keep The Change is one of the best in the business, and truly captures skate style snowboarding, shoutout Skyler. These videos are so well filmed and edited it actually doesn’t matter what trick is happening because it is just so cool to look at.

Opening the video is Mike Rav with some nifty maneuvers like that tailpress closeout wallie backside 180 which I really enjoyed. Backside 360 to frontside 360 the creeper wall was also a standout. Cole St. Martins backside 360 50-50 frontside 180 out was also pretty cool. Then the boss Brendon Rego shows off his buttery style with nollie backside 180 on, nollie front board, frontside 360 on, and a perfect nollie back tail sameway 270. Dylan Dragotta got a well deserved ender for this edit by putting down some of the most stylish tricks with ease. His cab 270 line to back 270 nosegrab was classic. Followed by tearing apart the creeper wall with backside 180 hardway 360 out, cab 360 on cab 360 out, and a hardway frontside 360 on backside 360 out was mind numbing.

Keep The Change dudes are true park rats and hold it down for the sport. Go buy their newest video “Homage”.  Looking forward to more edits. –The Rat
