BIRDgang snowboarding at Whistler by FootyFiend

BIRDgang from FootyFIEND.com on Vimeo.

To kick things off with Ratfeed I'm going to post a classic snowboard edit. Arguably one of the best/most stylish edits to drop of all time this is one of my favourite videos, and always gets me hyped on snowboarding. In this edit FootyFiend manages to capture BIRDgang on the slopes of Whistler, Canada and remains as one of the best edits on the internet.

This edit begins with Legend Dave Scott a.k.a. Davoucci Mane truly showing why he does not need to snowboard anymore. Tailgrab tailpress 270 pretzels, and 360 tripod 360 reverts like a boss, shutting down the industry. Followed up by Matt Butel showing the kids how to snowboard with one of the best tree tranny’s of all time. Butel then does the steeziest tail grab boardslide that has still been untouched in snowboarding, like a lot of tricks in this video, like the front board melon poke to fakie that he shows up a skier with that makes snowboarding look way more fun. Davoucci Mane does his tricks with the best stee in the game, like his switch back 270 switch up, and back 270 ons. This video gets heated at 1:23 with an assortment of game changing 270’s that are the best variations of the trick ever put into one video. We see Loosh throwing down the steeziest back 270 boardslide ever which has influenced how I snowboard ever since. At the end of the video Butel puts down one of the best nose bluntslides that solidifies the Bird gang style. Not forgetting Jordwan from Footy Fiend who put together this video with the Yung Joc track “Birds” and continues to put together classic snowboard edits under the Footy Fiend name.

This video is almost 5 years old and is still one of the best snowboard videos on the internet. This Bird Gang snowboard edit is a huge influence to up and coming riders, and proof that having style is way more fun to watch. Bird Gang puts the style in snowboarding.
